All beings are driven involuntarily in cycles of death and rebirth, which are determined by negative and positive instincts and which have been encoded on their evolutionary genes by positive and negative actions.
Enlightened beings, unencumbered by involuntary cycles, are also free to take birth an infinite number of times to benefit and liberate other beings.
